                                                Lesson 2 
60 min/week
Purpose: Students will  be able to choose the correct definite article for each noun in a singular and plural form

1) El or La Assignment (Review from last week) 
  • -After you log in on vocesdigital.com, click on Capitulo 2 - Guatemala 
  • -Read “El salon de clases/aula” 
  • -Review the words and their articles (el or la) 
  • -Go back to Capitulo 2  Guatemala
  • -Click on Genero y Numero
  • -Read the rules about when to use el or la


2) Singular to Plural 
  • -Go back to Capitulo 2  Guatemala
  • -Click on Sustantivos en plural
  • -Read the rules about when to use los or las 

3) Plural to Singular
  • -After reviewing the rules in how to change words from singular to plural and doing the skill practice, go to actividades and click on actividad 4

 4) Singular to Plural
  • -Go to actividad 5 and do the following:
  • -Create an appropriate shopping list of school supplies for the following students: first grade girl, fourth grade boy, ninth grade young woman, eleventh grade young man. Be sure to write in Spanish, using your vocab list. Include five items per list. Be sure to include the indefinite article or number for each item. Follow the model.

5) El or La - Los or Las and Singular to Plural
  • -Go to actividad 11 and do the following:
  • -Write a list of school supplies that you need for each class. Give at least four supplies for each class.
