-Read “El salon de clases/aula” 
-Review the words and their articles (el or la) 
-Go back to Capitulo 2  Guatemala
-Click on Genero y Numero
-Read the rules about when to use el or la

-Go back to Capitulo 2  Guatemala
-Click on Sustantivos en plural
-Read the rules about when to use los or las 
El or La Assignment 
-After reviewing the words and their right article (el or la), take out a loose leaf
-Write 10 words with el and 10 words with la

-After reviewing the rules in how to change words from singular to plural, take out a loose leaf
-Write 5  words with los and 5 words with las

El or La Assignment 
-After reviewing the words and their right article (el or la), go to actividades and click on actividad 1
-Write the correct article (el or la)  for each word and click submit

Singular to Plural
-After reviewing the rules in how to change words from singular to plural and doing the skill practice, go to actividades and click on actividad 3
El or La and Singular to Plural - Assignment 
-Look around your house and write 3 different words with la and 3 with el
-Then write the same 6 words in plural form 

 
 Suggestions:

El or La 

- Most masculine nouns (words)  end in -o use el 
-Most feminine nouns (words)  end in -a, -dad, -tad, -ción, or -sión use   la 

Singular to Plural 

-Add s to make the plural form of a word that ends in a vowel.
-Add es to make the plural form of a word that ends in a consonant.
-Notice that the article changes with the noun: el changes to los and la changes to las.
-If the consonant at the end of the word is z, change the z to c and then add es.
