THIS week, we are going to talk more about our FEELINGS. We cannot forget about managing our feelings! With so much change happening, it is more important than EVER to have strategies to manage our feelings. This goes for adults, too! REMEMBER: When you are having strong feelings, you can create a spot in your house called a COOL DOWN CORNER. See PDF Below for how to make your own! Below is also a PDF for a feelings Check-in :) Try to do a FEELINGS CHECK-IN once EVERY DAY! THIS WEEK'S READ ALOUD is called THE COLOR MONSTER! I absolutely LOVE this book! Why? -What color are you feeling today? -What was your favorite part of the story and why? TUESDAY: FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE!!! See PDF Below When you are experiencing negative emotions remember... THINK HAPPY THOUGHTS! It was DOES HELP! Practice GRATITUDE and think about what we are GRATEFUL for. Write down or draw 4 things that make you happy!
