DURING READING/LISTENING TO THE BOOK:
Who are the characters?
Where is the setting?
What is happening on this page?
What do you think will happen next? Why?
What does this page remind you of?

AFTER READING/LISTENING TO THE BOOK:
What happened first?
What happened next?
What happened last?
What was the problem in the story?
How did the problem get fixed?
What was your favorite part of the story? Why?
